Hot Buttered Soul
The surf icon Terry Fitzgerald was so moved by the Hot Buttered Soul music release in 1971 that he named his surf boards after it, but unfortunately there was no room for the word Soul on the logo, so the boards were named Hot Buttered. This film follows the development of the brand with footage from a variety of sources showing the dynamic 'sultans of speed' surf generation led by Terry Fitzgerald, and including names like Derek Hynd who narrates, Vetea David, Wayne Lynch, and the modern-day Fitzgerald's known from Litmus fame, Joel, Liam and Kyle. Also featured are skaters Jay Adams, Tony Alva and Larry Bertleman. Accompanying the DVD is a CD of the soundtrack by White Horse led by Andrew Kidman.
